Modernizing India's most used train ticketing platform for a smoother, clutter-free experience.

IRCTC is India's most used train ticketing platform. But let's be honest, it is outdated, cluttered, and confusing for first-time users.
As a UI/UX designer, I took on the challenge to redesign the IRCTC app. The goal was simple: make it modern, user-friendly, and accessible for everyone.
Simplify the home screen to focus on core actions.
Improve navigation to make it intuitive.
Modernize the UI to meet current design standards.
Too many options on the home screen overwhelm the user.
Important features like 'Book Ticket' and 'PNR Status' are hard to find.
The app looks like it was built in the early 2000s.

From low-fidelity paper sketches to high-fidelity final UI. The goal was to remove clutter, modernize the aesthetic, and make booking a ticket a breeze.
